The City of Atlantic Beach has no regulation addressing or prohibiting conversion to condominiums. Such a conversion would of course be subject to all statutory laws and provisions addressing the formation of a condominium form of ownership, as well as any applicable Florida Building Codes. The subject property exists as an occupied, legal multi-family residential use consistent with the Residential General, Multi-family (RG-2) Zoning District. This residential use may continue in the form of rental apartments or residential condominium units. As of this date, the City is not aware of any facts with respect to this property, which would constitute a violation of any zoning or Land Development Regulations.
