Be it enacted by the Town Council of Atlantic Beach, Fla:
Section 1. Throwing Refuse in Public Places.= .iTo person,
shall throw, place or deposit, or cause to be thrown, placed or
deposited, any offal, trash, stumps, roots, garbage or filth or
refuse or broken material of any kind into any of the public
(streets, roads, alleys, lanes or thoroughfares or vacant lots, or
into or upon the premises of any other person within the Town
Limits. No person shall t h -row, place or deposit the bodies of
dead animals, or animal matter of' any kind in the Atlantic Ocean,
or any creek or water course within the Town Limits. It shall be
the duty of every occupant or owner of any premises within the
Town to remove or cause to be reMoved. from his or her -premises and
from one-half of the street, highway, road, alley or thoroughfare
adjoining such premises, all trash, garbage, or refuse material
whatsoever kind, to a place outside of .the Town Limits, as may
be designated by the chariman of the CoLmaittee on Public Works.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall
be punished, on conviction before the mayor's court, by a fine of
not less than :10.00 nor more than $100.00 dollars or by
imprisonment .for not more than 5 days.
