John,
All of the mitigation checks out. Only thing needed is to pay the application fee of $125.00. This can be done vis visa or
master card at 904 257 5837 or a check can be brought into city hall at 800 Seminole Rd. The permit number is TREE20-

Abrielle,
Thanks for the time on the phone this morning as we work to get this finished up, I have secured bald cypress trees but I am
picking up in an hour and a half and will install on Eric‘s property and ours to meet the mitigation required.
As discussed: 5 inch total caliper minimum all 10 feet tall minimum (no tree less than 2” caliper) for Erics property
For ours same parameters however we only need 2.5 inch total to meet all requirements since these are all legacy trees.
If this is looking correct then I will call and email when it’s executed should be done by 1 PM if you can come out and verify
so that we can try to close up this C. O. This afternoon it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,

Jack, the tree was removed from your property. Brian’s email states “this adds 10” of required mitigation to
the permit” thus confirming this mitigation must be handled before closing the permit.
Eric, once the trees are planted, please let me know so I can inspect.

The mitigation for tree removal at 1778 Park Terr W is almost competed. In order
close out the permit, the additional 10 inches of mitigation for removal of the 20”
pine tree at 1768 Park Terr W must be planted and/or paid.
The Crevelings proposed to exceed their mitigation requirements by 1.5” but plan to
break even with mitigation owed. As a result, 10” is owed for the pine tree removal.
Mitigation can be met by planting trees on site, paying into the tree fund, or a
combination of the two. 10” is equivalent to $1,440.00.
A couple of examples to meet 10” of mitigation include:
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Planting one 5” caliper legacy species
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Planting one 5” caliper cabbage palm
and paying for 5 inches of mitigation
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Planting one 10” caliper crape myrtle
<!--[if !supportLists]-->- <!--[endif]-->Pay for all 10 inches of mitigation
Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

must be at least 4” in
caliper and 12 feet in
height at time of
planting
<!--[if !supportLists]-->-

trees must be at least
2” in caliper and 10
