BE 11" Et -40=0 BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATTIC BZACH, FIMY-D , That: SECTION 1. A special election is hereby ordered and called to be held in the City of Atlantic Mach, Florida, idc, on the cath day of March, 1955, to determine -wether or not there shall be issued general obligati ota bonds of the City in tate principal mount of not exceeding $300,000.00, 'nearing interest at a rate o,: nates not in excess of six per cent per anniva, such rate or rates of interest to be determined upon the par value of said bonds and to mature serially in annual installmeate over a period not to exceed thirty years from the date of said boards for the purpose of financing the coat of construction of a sewn system for said City. SECTION 2. The Registration Books of said City will remain open for the registration of qualified electors who are freeholders residing in said City at the City Hall, in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Sunday excepted, through February 17, 1955, which said date is not less than fourteen days prior to the election. SECTIO14 3. The place of voting in said bond election shall be the place hereinafter set forth in Section 4 of this Ordinance, which is the talars in said City where the last general election was held :in the City. In the event such polling places hereinafter designated be not available for use for any cause do the date fixed for said alection, the City Cosuission does hereby reserve tate right to forthwith designate =other and different polling place. Goodlina, Inspector In the event any inspector or clerk so named is unable to serve as such, the City Commission reserves the right to appoint a substitute or substitutes. The inspectors and clerks shall wake their returns to said Commission imaediately after the special election. 40 SECTIO! 5. The Polls will be opened at such voting place on the date of the special election from 7o'clock A.I. to 7 o'clock P.M. on said date. For the pay- ment: of the principal of and interest on said bonds, the full faith and credit of the City of Atlantic Mach, Floridan shall be pledged. If you are not in favor of the issuance of the bonds, place an V' mar:t is the space to the left of tate words "Against Bonds". SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to have printed on plain white paper, a sufficient number of the aforesaid paper ballots and deliver them to the inspectors and clerks on or before the date cad time for the opening of the polls for such election. SECTION 8. The City Clerk shall pubUsh a notice of the election hereby called in the Ocean Beach Reporter, a rompaper of general circulation in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida. Said notice shall be published at least once each week for 'four consecutive weeks, with the first publication thereof to be not less than thirty days prior to the date of said special election. Notice is hareby given that a special election will be held in the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, at the usual place of voting in said City in Beneral elections on the 4th day of March, 1958, in accordance with an Ordinance enacted by said City on the 27th day of January 1958, to determine whether Said City shall issue serial bonds in the principal amount of not e.tceeding $300,000.00, bearing interest from the date thereof at a rate not to exceed six pe-.,.-- cent per arnzm, payable semi. -annually and maturipS aerially over a periost not to exceed thirty years from the date of said bonds, for the purpose of financing the coax or construction of a sewer system for said City. All duly qualified electors of the City of Atlantis Beate, Florida, who are freeholders and who have registered not later than fourteen days previous to said election shall be entitled to vote on the question of the issuance of said bonds. The City Clerk, ex officio Registration Officer, is hereby authorized and directed to eke up and certify a list of all qualified registered electors residing in said City kho are freeholders and entitled to vote in said special election. SECTION 10.
