AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE UNIFORM ACCOUNTING
SYSTEM OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA PURSUANT TO
CHAPTER 218.33, FLORIDA STATUTES, AND SUCH
REASONABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING
UNIFORM ACCOUNTING PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES
ADOPTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BANKING AND
FINANCE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. The City Manager is hereby directed to use the
"Uniform Accounting System for Local Units of Government in the
State of Florida" in the preparation of the City's next budget to be
adopted prior to October 1, 1978.
SECTION II. The City Clerk -Treasurer -Comptroller is hereby
directed to use the "Uniform Accounting System for Local Units of
Government in the State of Florida" in the preparation of the City's
accounting system to be implemented October 1, 1978.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
SECTION IV. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
