AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE
CODE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
AMENDING CHAPTER 6, ADOPTING A
MINIMUM HOUSING CODE, AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section 1. Chapter 6 Article VIII, Section 6-120 is hereby
created and reads as follows:

ARTICLE VIII, HOUSING CODE
SECTION 6-120. ADOPTION
Section 6-120. Adoption.
There is hereby adopted, basic minimum housing standards
deemed essential for safe, healthful living, that certain code
10110 known as the Standard Housing Code, 1985 Edition, published by
the Southern Building code Congress International, Inc.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon this adoption.
