An Ordinance to temporarily borrow the sum of thirty-
two hundred dollarai. ($3,200.00) from the First National
Beach Bank for a period of six (6) months at an interest
rate not to exceed 57 per annum; Purpose, Authority,
and effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA,
Sec 1. The Mayor Commissioner, attested by the City
Clerk of City of Atlantic Beach, is hereby authorized to
borrow the sum of thirty two hundred dollars ($3200.00)
from the First National Beach Bank for a period of six
(6) months at an interest rate not to exceed 5% per annum.
Section II The purpose of this temporary borrowing is
for financing the recently purchased garbage body
covered by Specifications #68-1, thus taking advantage
of cash discount.
Sec. III The authority of this Ordinance is Section
76 of the City Charter.
Sec. IV This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage on final reading.
