ORDINANCE #35-68-4
AN ORDINANCE TO TEMPORARILY BORROW THE SUM OF
TWENTY-FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2400.00) FROM THE
FIRST NATIONAL BEACH BANK FOR A PERIOD OF SIX
(6) MONTHS AT AN INTEREST RATE NOT TO EXCEED 5%
PER ANNUM; PURPOSE,AUTHORITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA,
SECTION I. The Mayor-Commissioner, attested by the City Clerk
of the City of Atlantic Beach, is hereby authorized to borrow
the sum of Twenty-four Hundred Dollars ($2400.00) from the
First National Beach Bank for a period of six (6) months at
an interest rate not to exceed 5% per annum.
SECTION II. The purpose of this temporary borrowing is for
financing the recently purchased garbage truck chassis covered
by Specifications #68-2, thus taking advantage of cash discount.
SECTION III. The authority of this Ordinance is Section 76
of the City Charter.
SECTION IV. This Ordiance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage on final reading.

1968.
Passed by the City Commission on second and final reading on
August 12th, 1968.
