AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, ARTICLE IV, DEPART-
MENTS, DIVISION 4, DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, SEC. 2-73,
INVESTMENT OF FUNDS, TO REQUIRE SUCH INVESTMENTS BE MADE
ACCORDING TO AN INVESTMENT POLICY, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida:
SECTION 1. Sec. 2-73 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2-73. Investment of funds; investment policy.
The director of finance shall invest funds of the
city which are not required for immediate disbursement.
Such investment must be in accordance with the most
recent Investment Policy as adopted by Resolution of the
City Commission. "
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage and adoption.
