AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 55-58-1 OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH: BEING AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION AND GOVERNING OF
PLUMBING CONSTRUCTION AND THE SALE, INSTALLATION,
USE, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF PLUMBING FIXTURES,
APPARATUS AND EQUIPMENT IN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA, AND CREATING AND DESIGNATING THE
BOARD OF EXAMINERS OF PLUMBERS AND DEFINING THE
POWERS AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD AND CREATING THE
OFFICE OF PLUMBING INSPECTOR AND DEFINING THE
POWERS AND DUTIES OF SAID OFFICER AND PRESCRIB-
ING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF SUCH ORDINANCE
AND ESTABLISHING PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 1. of Ordinance No. 55-58-1
of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, be and is hereby amended
as follows:
Substitute the words
"Rules and Regulations governing Plumbing
in the City of Jacksonville, Florida,
revised as of May 1, 1961", in place of
"Rules and Regulations governing Plumbing
in the City of Jacksonville, Florida,
revised as of June 25, 1950. "
SECTION 2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 . This Ordinance shall be and become effective
on final reading.
Passed by the City Commission on first reading on August 26 , 1963 .
Passed by the City Commission on second and final reading on
September 23, 1963 .
