Ordinance No. 55-77-16 v • ORDINANCE NO. 55-77-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18, ARTICLE I, SECTION 18-2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH: SECTION 1. Chapter 18, Article I, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach entitled "Refuse, Garbage, and Weeds" be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 18-2(e) as follows: Section 18-2(e). Leaves and grass clippings shall be placed for collection at the curb in either a recepticle meeting the standard for garbage collection or disposable plastic or water proof paper bag securely fastened at the opening. Tree trunks, stumps, limbs, trimmings, or waste building materials shall not exceed five feet in length nor shall any single item exceed a weight of more than 50 pounds. The City shall not be required to collect any trash which does not comply with these requirements nor any trash accumulated by contractors. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage.
