Discrepancy 1. Please submit documentation from JEA that your designed solar photovoltaic system installation is approved for connection to the JEA power grid. 2. Please submit approval information concerning FLORIDA SOLAR ENERGY CENTER (FSEC). The Laws of Florida (§ 377.705, FS) require that all solar systems manufactured or sold in the state of Florida comply with Solar Equipment Standards promulgated by the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC). These standards cover both solar thermal equipment and solar electric equipment. FSEC works closely with industry, the research and development community and other interested stakeholders to ensure that its Standards encourage the effective use of renewable energy resources and protect the consumers of the state of Florida. 3. The site plan submitted shows that the TESLA Power Wall will be located on the interior of the building. Please disclose information as to what the space is used for where the power wall will be installed. 4. If that room’s wall and ceiling finish is not installed, the installation of 5/8 inch gypsum board is recommended. 5. If the location of the power wall is in the garage and is in the potential path of a vehicle describe how it will be protected from being struck by any vehicle (pipe bollard or curb); or disclose that it will be installed at a height that a vehicle will not be able to come in contact with the power wall. 6. If installed in the house or garage, a smoke alarm will need to be installed interconnected to the existing buildings smoke alarms; or a heat detector may be installed and connected to the existing smoke detectors.
