AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AMENDING
CHAPTER 16, SOLID VSE, AMENDING SECTION 16-8, FEES
AND COLLECTIONS, TO PROVIDE FOR MONTHLY BILLING,
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 16, Solid Waste, Section 16-8, Fees for
Collection, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 16-8. Fees for Collection
All residents, occupants and owners of premises in the city shall
have accumulations of solid waste removed and disposed of by the
sanitation division of the city, and for the service of solid waste
removal, shall pay the city the sums shown below for each type of
service.
(1) Residence A Unit. For each residence A unit there shall be a
charge of €arty-eight-deiiars-{$4879.6}-per- a r sixteen
dollars ($16.00) per month, payable to the City of Atlantic
Beach for each residence A unit.
(2) Residence B Unit. For each housekeeping unit in a residence B
unit there shall be a charge of tarty-e tt-elelIare-{$48-99}
per--quarter sixteen dollars ($16.00) per month payable to the
city for each such housekeeping unit.
(3) Residence C Unit. A container or dumpster will be furnished
and maintained by the City and there shall be a charge of
ane-hundred-si mty-saran-eleliars-ane-fifty-eeats fifty-five
dollars and eighty-three cents ($55.83) per cubic yard per
quarter month for each container or dumpster.
(4) Commercial A Unit. For each commercial A unit, there shall be
be a charge of erre-lit re -sixty-seven-eleiiars-ane-fifty-eeats
$}6 :69} fifty-five dollars and eighty-three cents ($55.83)
per cubic yard per quarter month for each dumpster.
Note: Charge includes dumpster maintenance and replacement.
(5) Commercial B unit. All businesses, professions and
occupations not required to have a commercial dumpster. There
shall be a charge of €arty-eight-eleilara--$48799}-ger-darter
sixteen dollars ($16.00) per month payable to the city for
each commercial B unit.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
final passage.
