AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE R'iAYC.2 OIv1MISSIONER AS THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA
Section 1 : That, pursuant to Section 35 of the Atlantic
Beach Charter,, The Mayor-Commissioner (Commissioner, Seat
No. 1) is hereby designated the Director of Public Safety
and is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to fully
perform End discharge the duties and responsibilities as
supervisory head of the Police Department and Fire Department
of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Section 2 „ This ordinance shall become effective on December
14, 19570
