AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA;
AMENDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE II, SECTION
5-17 AND 5-18 TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF VEHICLES
AND THE RIDING OF ANIMALS ON ATLANTIC BEACH;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida:
Section 1. Chapter 5, Article II, Section 5-17 and 5-18 are hereby
amended to read as follows:
CHAPTER 5
ARTICLE II - SAFETY ZONE
Section 5-17. Use of vehicles and riding of animals prohibited
It shall be unlawful for any person to propel, operate or drive any

Section 5-18. Barricades

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
