AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A COST OF LIVING INCREASE
FOR EXISTING RETIRANTS OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH PENSION
SYSTEM; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Effective upon approval of the appropriate impact state-
ments by the State of Florida, all retired persons on October 1, 1987,
of the Atlantic Beach Pension System shall receive an increase in their
pension benefits which said increase shall amount to twelve and one-half
(12.5) percent of the amount of pension they are receiving on October 1,
1987.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.

Passed by the City Commission on second & final reading October 26, 1987.
