AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 60-66-1 REGULA-
TING THE LOCATION, CONSTRUCTION, SIZE AND MAINTENANCE
OF SIGNS, BILLBOARDS, MARQUEES, CANOPIES AND AWNINGS
IN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA,
BY REPEALING AND DELETING THEREFROM SECTION VIII
THEREOF, AND SUBSTITUTING THEREFOR A NEW SECTION VIII.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
SECTION I. An amendment to Ordinance No. 60-66-1 by repealing and
deleting Section VIII thereof, and substituting therefor a new
section to read as follows:
SECTION VIII. NON-CONFORMING SIGNS
All signs and billboards, for which permits were
issued by the City, in the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida, which are made non-conforming by the
inactment of Ordinance No. 60-66-1 may remain non-
conforming until such time as their condition
requires replacement, relocation or material repair
411 thereto, whereupon such signs shall then be made to
conform with the provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon final passage.
