CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THAT
CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS DAVID STREET BETWEEN BELVEDERE
STREET AND SAILFISH DRIVE, ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, sitting in regular public session has determined
that the following portion of David Street within the bounds of
the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida is of no benefit to the City
of Atlantic Beach, Florida for any public purpose present or
future, and
WHEREAS, the closing, vacating, and abandoning of said
property is of the best interest to the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That piece, section, or tract of land lying and being
in the City of Atlantic Beach, County of Duval, State
of Florida, to wit:
That certain piece, parcel or tract of land, situate,
lying and being a part of David Street, as shown on
the Plat of Section Noo 1, Saltair, as recorded in
Plat Book 10, Page 8 of the Current Public Records
of Duval County, Florida and all being more particu-
larly described as follows : Beginning at the inter-
section of the Westerly right-of-way line of Belvedere
Street (as shown on said plat of Section Noo 1, Saltair, )
with the Southerly right-of-way line of David Street
(formerly Park Avenue, as shown on said Plat of Section
Noo 1, Saltair) , said point being the Northeasterly
corner of Lot 581, as shown on said plat; thence West-
erly along said Southerly right-of-way line of David
Street, and the Northerly line of said Lot 581, a
distance of 100.00 feet to the Northwesterly corner
of said Lot 581; thence Northerly across said David
Street, 50.00 feet to the Southwesterly corner of
Lot 453 and the Northerly right-of-way line of said
David Street; thence Easterly along said Northerly
right-of-way line of David Street and the Southerly
line of said Lot 453, a distance of 20.00 feet to a
P. C. of a curve to the left, concave to the North-
west and having a radius of 80.00 feet; thence North-
easterly, around and along said curve and around and
along the Southeasterly line of Lots 453 and 452, a
chord distance of 113. 14 feet to the P . T. of said

curve, said point being situate in the Westerly right-
of-way line of Belvedere Street; thence Southerly
along a Southerly prolongation of said Westerly right-
of-way line of Belvedere Street, 130 .00 feet to the
point of beginning.
Section 2n
That said street is hereby closed, vacated, and aband-
oned, however, this abandonment is not to be construed
to affect any, if any, existing easement in favor of
any municipality or public utility, the right of which
should not be affected by this closing.
Section 3.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
final passages
