relative to the board/committee applying for.
I am on the board of FABE (Friends of Atlantic Beach Elementary). FABE has funded and
implemented many improvements to Atlantic Beach Elementary, some of which have involved
working with the City of Atlantic Beach. My wife and I also own several properties in Atlantic
Beach that we have rehabilitated and I am quite familiar with the land use regulations of our city.
Please provide a brief explanation of your interest and your reasons for wishing to be appointed to this
board/committee.
I have lived in Atlantic Beach for approximately 17 years and I truly love our community.
Maintaining the character of our community is of the utmost importance. Accordingly, attention to
land use regulations and zoning restrictions is essential. Also,the population of our city continues
to grow and our city will need further capital improvements. The Community Development Board
is the entity that plays the most important in role in this; hence,the reason why I would like to
participate on this board.
