PLANTING REQUIRMENTS
•Oaks must be replaced with oaks and have a 4" caliper and 12' tall at time of planting.
•Maritime Species must be replaced with Maritime Species.
•Mininum 2" caliper for non oaks and 10' tall at time of planting.
•Palms may replace plams.Mininum 8ft clear trunk height at time of planting.
•Maritime species receive double credit when replacing non-Maritime species.

· Mitigation shall come in the form of planting trees on site, paying into the tree fund,

· New trees shall be selected from the attached approved species list.
· Planting a designated maritime species will result in double credit (4” live oak = 8”
of credit)
· New live oaks must have a 4” caliper and be 12 feet tall at time of planting.
· All other new trees must have a 2” caliper and be 10 feet tall at time of planting.
Example mitigation plans:
· Plant 2- 4” maritime species = 16” of credit
· Plant 1- 4” maritime species = 8” of credit, pay for remaining 7” ($1,050.00)
The next step is to submit a proposed mitigation plan. Please let me know what you plan
to plant including their caliper size and species. If you plan to pay, please detail that
amount.
