AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AMENDING CHAPTER
20, TAXATION,ARTICLE III,OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX,
AMENDING SECTION 20-51,DEFINITIONS, AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1, Section 20-51, Definitions, is hereby amended to include a definition of"Passenger
Vessel,"as follows:
Passenger Vessel shall mean a vessel intended primarily to transport passengers, but excluding
chartered fishing boats. Crew members necessary for the operation of the vessel for its intended
purpose shall not be considered passengers for the purpose of this ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final adoption.
