AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FLORIDA MODEL
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE FOR REGULATING THE
MOVEMENT OF ALL VEHICULAR, PEDESTRIAN
AND OTHER TRAFFIC WITHIN THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH FLORIDA
BE IT ENACTED By the People of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida:
Section 1. For the purpose of regulating the move-
ment of all vehicular, pedestrian and all other traffic within
the corporate limits of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
there is hereby adopted Chapter 57-333, Laws of Florida, 1957,
known as the "Florida Model Traffic Ordinance" (being Chapter
186, Florida Statutes) , and the whole thereof, except Sections
38, 193 and 194 of said Chapter 57-333, and except that where-
ever the words "City Manager" are used in said Model Traffic
Ordinance hereby adopted, the same are hereby changed to read
"Director of Public Safety"; and the said Model Traffic Ordi-
nance, with the exceptions aforesaid, and as modified as afore-
said, is hereby adopted and incorporated herein as fully as if
set forth at length, and from the date on which this ordinance
shall take effect the said provisions of said Model Traffic
Ordinance, as hereby adopted, shall be controlling within the
limits of said City.
Section 2. Schedules of designated streets, districts
and zones, referred to in said Ordinance adopted as aforesaid,
are hereby declared to be as follows:
