Unless in conjunction with a full-service restaurant, on-premises consumption of alcohol is a use-by-exception and will require Board approval. A full service restaurant is defined as
“a food service use where unpackaged ready-to-consume food is prepared onsite and served to the customer while seated at tables or counters located in a seating area within or immediately
adjacent to the building.”
The next Board meeting is October 20th and the deadline to submit your application for that meeting is next Monday (9/28). You can submit by emailing your application to Building-Dept@coab.us<mailto:

While I cannot guarantee how the Board will vote, the last several requests of this type have been approved unanimously.

Would it be possible to start If easier with just being allowed to sell it at our Farm Market? We have cheese and charcuterie and prepared meals that we have increased due to losing

I own Atlantic Beach Urban Farms and we have increased our Farm Market to make up for losing the Restaurant business. We would like to be able to sell Beer and Wine through the market
and allow for consumption on the premises. The State is asking for proof of Zoning Approval? Where would I start this process? Please advise - thank you.
