Upon inspection of the property, I found a Platanus occidentalis, (American Sycamore)
that should be removed. The tree has a hollow cavity halfway up the trunk. Visible rot can be
seen through the hole. The top canopy of the tree is beginning to die and drop large sections on
the ground. The tree is in close proximity of the house and should be removed to prevent
damage. To replace the tree a smaller ornamental tree or palm should be planted.
