This letter is in regards to the current status and condition of 2 Slash pine
trees (Pinus elliottii) trees located at the Gammage residence at 345
Belvedere Street Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. The trees are both marked
and located in the front yard (center) and front right side of the property.
The small pine tree in the front center is a sub -dominate 10" DBH (DBH=
diameter at breast height) and has a significant lean and is in poor health.
The larger pine on the right side is structurally compromised due to physical
damage to the trunk caused by wind torquing.
Due to these conditions, these trees are potential liabilities and as a result it is
recommended that these two trees be removed.
