AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
4110 80-88-38 OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AMENDING
CHAPTER 22, ARTICLE III, DIVISION 7, SECTION
22-167(b) TO CLARIFY APPLICABLE SEWER RATES TO
CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE CITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, FLORIDA
Section 1. Chapter 22, Article III, Division 7, Section 22-167 is
hereby amended to read as follows:

UTILITIES
ARTICLE III. WASTEWATER SYSTEM
DIVISION 7. SEWER USER RATES AND CHARGES
Section 22-167. Schedule of wastewater volume charges
(a) There is hereby established a uniform volume charge per one
thousand (1,000) gallons of water as follows:
(1) Single-family Residential $0.39 per 1,000 gallons of
actual water consumption up
to a maximum of 50,000
410 gallons per quarter
(2) Restaurants, laundries and car $1.50 per 1,000 gallons of
wash connections actual water consumption
(3) All other classifications $0.39 per 1,000 gallons of
actual water consumption
(b) The rates applicable to customers outside of the city shall be
one and one-half times the rates in-ka}-E}}-and-�2} above.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
