AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 50 ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE providing for the zoning of the Town of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County, Florida. Under and Pursuant to Chapter
19688 of the Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1939, Entitled
10AM ACT AUTHORIZING the Town of Atlantic Beach, Florida , to
Provide For, and Prescribe Zoning Regulations; and Repealing
Chapter 16313 , Laws of Florida, Special Acts of 1933 , Entitled
*AN Act to Provide the Town of Atlantic Beach, Duval ,County,
Florida, to provide and Prescribe Zoning Regulations
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. That Article V (A) , Sub-paragraph( 2) of
Ordinance #50, commonly known as th Zoning Ordinance be , and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
( 2) A single detached two-family dwelling for two-
families, the units of which are detached, semi-detached or
between party walls; provided however that each two-family
structure shall have a lot frontage of not less than 100 feet
and shall have a garage or carport for each,family uni ,no
part of which garage or carport shall extend more than 5 feet
beyond the front line of the main building.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are to the extent of such eonflict hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon final passage.
