AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 90-50-3 BEING
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY, MORALS AND THE
GENERAL WELFARE OF THE CITY, UNDER AND PURSUANT TO
THE 'ATLANTIC BEACH CHARTER : PROVIDING FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT THEREOF, FIXING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF: REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 50 AND ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND FIXING THE
DATE WHEN SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. "
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Atlantic
Beach be changed as follows:
A parcel of land lying on the East side of Mayport Road being
a part of the Castro y Ferrer Grant, Section 38, T2S,R29E containing
25 acres more or less being the same as described in Deed Book
1355, Page 113, Public Records of Duval County, Florida, be changed
from Business B and Residence D to Residence A zone.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage on final reading.
Passed by the City Commission on the first reading on February
8th, 1960.
Passed by the City Commission on the second and final reading
on March 14th, 1960.
