AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND OR.DINANCES NO. 90-59-3
AND 90-60-8 BEING "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
THE ZONING OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL
COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING
HEALTH, SAFETY, MORALS AND THE GENERAL WELFARE
OF THE CITY, UNDER AND PURSUANT TO THE 'ATLANTIC
BEACH CHARTER' : PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT
THEREOF, FIXING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF:
REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 50 AND ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND FIXING THE DATE WHEN
SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. "
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Atlantic
Beach be changed as follows:
A parcel of land lying on the northwest cor-
ner of Penman Road extended and Atlantic Boule-
vard. Said tract extending in a northerly
direction 160 ' along an extension of Penman
Road and thence westerly 175 ' and thence
southerly 160 ' to the north right-of-way line
of Atlantic Boulevard and thence easterly 175 '
to point of beginning. Said tract being a
part of B. de Castro Y Ferrer Grant pt. record-
ed O/R Book 1031-1. This portion of said tract
now zoned Business AA be changed to Business B.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
Passed by the City Commission on the first reading on
January 14th, 1963.
Passed by the City Commission on the second and final
reading on February 11th, 1963.
