AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 90-59-3
BEING " AN ORDINANCE FOR THE ZONING OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY,
MORALS AND THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE CITY,
UNDER AND PURSUANT TO THE ATLANTIC BEACH CHARTER:
PROVIDING FOR THE: ENFORCEMENT THEREOF, FIXING
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF: REPEALING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 50 AND ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THERE-
WITH AND FIXING THE DATE WHEN SAME SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE".
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 90-59-3, commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance, be and is hereby amended by modification
of the boundaries of the district now designated "Business
A-1" (BA-1) and the Zoning Map adopted by said Ordinance
is hereby amended and changed as follows :
"The westernmost one hundred and twenty (120)
feet of the district noW designated Business
A-1 bordering upon and having its western
limit coincident with the eastern limit of a
district now designated "Residence C" (RC)
be, and is hereby withdrawn from "Business
A-i" designation and redesignated "Residence
C" and made an integral part and portion of
the said Residence C district. "
SECTION II. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage on final reading.

on September 13th, 1965.
