4111 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART OF SECTION 28-7, RESIDENCE A-1, AND
SECTION 28-8, RESIDENCE A, PARAGRAPH "G" , CHAPTER 28, ENTITLED
"MINIMUM LOT COVERAGE" OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. That paragraph "G" of Section 28-7 and paragraph "G" of
Section 28-8 be amended to read as follows:
G. Minimum Lot Coverage
1 . One story
A. Minimum requirements for one or two bedroom residence,
nine hundred fifty square feet living area enclosed
coverage; three bedrooms one thousand and fifty square
feet; four bedrooms twelve hundred square feet; and
for each bedroom more than four, one hundred twenty-five
square feet added to twelve hundred.
B . On existing platted lots of 5, 000 square feet or less
gross lot area where a single lot is to be used as a
building plot, the requirements in Paragraph A above
are reduced by fifty square feet, except that no resi-
dence is permitted to have four or more bedrooms .
2 . Two story, seven hundred fifty square feet enclosed cover-
age on ground floor and total living area as provided in
paragraph one.
SECTION 2 . This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage on final reading.
