AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 28 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, EN-
TITLED "ZONING" AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP TO CONFORM WITH THE FOLLOWING
AMENDMENT. THE DESCRIBED LAND TO BE RE-
ZONED FROM RESIDENCE A-1 TO RESIDENCE C-
LOTS 1, 2, 3,4, 5,6,7 , BLOCK 26; and LOTS
3,4, 5,6,7 ,8, 9, 10,11, BLOCK 16, ROYAL PALMS
SUBDIVISION UNIT 2A.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA.
SECTION 1.
Chapter 28 of the Code of the City of Atlantic Beach entitled
"Zoning" and the official Zoning Map be amended as follows: The
described land to be rezoned from Residence A-1 to Residence C-
lots 1, 2, 3,4, 5,6,7 , Block 26: and lots 3,4, 5,6,7, 8, 9, 10,11 Block
16, Royal Palms Subdivision Unit 2A, in the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida.
SECTION 2.
All Ordinance or parts of Ordinance and Resolution in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon issuance of a permit and
construction started in conformity with the Zoning and Building
Code of the City. Failure to commence construction prior to
July 16th, 1972 shall render this Ordinance null and void.
Further, prior to issuance of said permit, construction of, or
permit for Lots 1 and 2, Block 16, Royal Palms to be improved
by paving and fencing as recorded in the minutes of the Atlantic
Beach Commission Meeting of January 24, 1972.
Passed by the City Commission on first reading on June 12, 1972.
Passed by the City Commission on second and final reading on
June 26, 1972
