AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 90-59-3
BEING "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH , DUVAL COUNTY ,
FLORIDA, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH,
SAFETY, MORALS AND THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE
CITY , UNDER AND PURSUANT TO THE 'ATLANTIC
BEACH CHARTER' : PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT
THEREOF, FIXING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF :
REPEALING ORDINANCE NUMBER 50 AND ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND FIXING THE
DATE WHEN SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE" .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA :
SECTION I . That the Code of the City of Atlantic Beach
and Ordinance 90-69-34 is hereby amended by deletion of
subparagraph (g) (2) and substitution of new subparagraph
as follows :
Sec . 28-8 . Residence "A" Districts
(g) (2) Two story , two hundred square feet
enclosed coverage on the ground floor and
not less than a total of twelve hundred square
feet enclosed heating living area .
SECTION II . That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage on final reading .
