Revisions may not be submitted until ALL departments have completed their respective reviews.
Revisions submitted MUST respond to EACH department review. Submittals that respond to only one or a
few correction items will not be accepted.
Correction Comments:
1. Resubmit the survey indicating where on the existing building the build out will occur by highlignting that area
and writing notes next to that spot.
2. Submit an existing floor plan showing all equipment that is located in the garage and any existing floor elevation
differences.
3. Resubmit the proposed floor plan with every proposed newly created space/room/area labeled. Show where
attic access will be.
4. From the 7th Edition of the 2020 FBC-Existing Building Code, choose a methode of construction compliance from
Chapter 3; and from Chapter 6, the Classification of Work (Alteration Level). Place this information on the
resubmitted proposed floor plan.
5. Please submit documentation from a licensed HVAC contractor that the existing hvac heating and cooling
system is sufficient in size to accommodate the proposed garage build -out space.
6. Submit Energy Form R402-2020 for information needed on this proposed build -out. A pdf of the form will be
provided.
7. Submit a ductwork floor plan lay out of the proposed build -out area. Should identify supply and returns as well
as bathroom exhaust fan, if required.
8. Is there a door separating the bathroom area from the rest of the build -out area? If so call out that door type
and size on the proposed floor plan.
9. Submit the Florida Product Approval Information Sheets for all components and cladding items for this proposed
build -out. New doors, windows, siding material and the Product Approval Numbers. Installation of new doors
and windows will be required at the job site when their installation inspection is requested by you. Siding
installation instructions and Evaluation Report, if applicable for this project, are required now at plan review.
10. Submit an electrical floor plan for lighting and receptacle location. Any newly created egress openings will
require a switch and exterior lighting at those egress opening. Please show the location of the required smoke
detector.
11. Please give a written narrative of what appliances will be installed at the counter shown on the submitted
proposed floor plan. Write in on the floor plan those appliance locations.
12. Submit signed and sealed engineered structual plans for any wall alterations that will be required to fill in an
opening or open up a wall for the installation of any doors or windows.
13. Please submit the existing elevations of the garage portion of this buiding and the proposed elevations of the
walls affected by this proposed garage build -out.
14. Resubmittals may generate other review comments.

Resubmittal Notes: All revisions and changes shall clearly stand out from the rest of the drawing on the sheet as a
revision by way of completely encircling the change with "clouding". The revision shall also be identified as to the
sequence of revision by indicating a triangle with the revision sequence number within it and located adjacent to the
cloud. The revision date and revision sequence number shall also be indicated in a conspicuous location in the title block
for each sheet on which a revision for that sequence occurs. For projects still in the initial review stage and permit
pending, all sheets with revisions shall be inserted into each set of drawings. The original sheets must be clearly marked
"VOID" but are to be left within the set of drawings. Complete new sets of drawings will not be accepted. ADDITIONAL
ITEMS MAY BE REQUIRED DEPENDING UPON NEW INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS SUBMITTED FOR
REVIEW.
