ORDINANCE NO. 90-85-86
AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY HEREIN DESCRIBED OWNED BY
VINCENT F. DESALVO, JR. , FROM ILW TO CG AS DEFINED
UNDER THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Vincent F. DeSalvo, Jr. , of 1117 Vale Orchid Drive,
Jacksonville, Florida, is the owner of certain property herein
described, and has applied to the City Commission to zone said property
CG in accordance with the Zoning Code of the City of Atlantic Beach, and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Planning Board met on February 19, 1985, to
consider the said zoning application and conducted a public hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Planning Board has rendered its
recommendation to the City Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds the rezoning of the particular
piece of land is consistent with the Land Development Code and the
Comprehensive Plan adopted by the City, and the zoning will be adversely
effect the health and safety of the residents in the area, and will not
be detrimental to the natural environment or to the use or development
of the adjacent properties in the general neighborhood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The real property described in Section 2 below is
hereby zoned CG as defined and classified under the zoning code of the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, in compliance with the application and
plans on file with the City and by reference made a part hereof and
subject to any conditions and recommendations of the Advisory Planning
Board to the City Commission.
Section 2 : The real property zoned by this ordinance is owned by
Vincent F. DeSalvo, Jr. , 1117 Vale Orchid Drive, Jacksonville, Florida
32207, and is located at the northwest corner of Levy Road and Mayport
Road, more precisely defined as a portion of Government Lot 3, Section
17, Townsend 2 South, Range 29 East, Duval County, Florida, containing
2.2 acres more or less.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect on its adoption.
