Ordinance No. 90-85-88 v ORDINANCE NO. 90-85-88 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE LAND DEVELOP- MENT CODE BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REZONE LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED FROM RS-2 AND CG TO RG-3; PRO- VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach Advisory Planning Board has considered a request to change the zoning submitted by Edna L. Johansen and has conducted a public hearing on same on Tuesday, April 15, 1985, and WHEREAS, the Advisory Planning Board did recommend to the City Commission on April 22, 1985, that the property described herein be rezoned from Residential Single=Family (RS-2) and Commercial General (CG) to Residential General 3 (RG-3) , and WHEREAS, the City Commission does exercise its powers to amend the Land Development Code, including the official zoning district map, in order to encourage the most appropriate use of land, and WHEREAS, the rezoning is consistent with the Atlantic Beach Comprehensive Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantyc Beach, Florida, as follows: Section 1. That the zoning district for the land described herein Wow and the official zoning map be amended to change the zoning from Resential Single Family and Commercial General to Residential General (RG-3) . The property affected by this rezoning is described as follows: A part of "Hotel Reservation" according to map of Atlantic Beach, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 69, together with Lot 15, Club Manor, according to plat recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 62, of the Current Public Records of Duval County, Florida, and more particularly described in the attached contract for sale and purchase of real property attached hereto as Exhibit A. 1 Section 2.
