Ordinance No. 90-86-106 v ORDINANCE NO. 90-86-106 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 24, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE AND LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO RE- ZONE LAND DESCRIBED AS SHOWN ON APPENDIX "A" ATTACHED HERETO FROM RESIDENTIAL GEN- ERAL (RG-2) TO RESIDENTIAL GENERAL (RG-3) ; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, did adopt a comprehensive zoning Ordinance on July 26, 1982, and WHEREAS the Advisory Planning Board has recommended that the referenced property attached hereto as appendix "A", be rezoned from Residential General-Two (RG-2) to Residential General-Three (RG-3) , and WHEREAS the City Commission does exercise its powers to amend the Land Development Code, including the official zoning district map in order to encourage the most appropriate use of land, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the people of Atlantic Beach, Florida, that Chapter 24 of the official Zoning Ordinance and official Zoning Atlas of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, be amended to change the legal description of the property contained in Appendix "A" from Residential General-Two (RG-2) to Residential General-Three (RG-3) .
