Revisions may not be submitted until ALL departments have completed their respective reviews.
Revisions submitted MUST respond to EACH department review. Submittals that respond to only one or a
few correction items will not be accepted.
Correction Comments:
1. From the 7th Edition of the 2020 FBC-Existing Building Code, choose a Method of Construction
Compliance from Chapter 3; and the Classification of Work (Alteration Level) from Chapter 6. Place this
information either on the Architectural or Engineering drawing under the ‘Applicable Codes’. Resubmit
that revised page with that information ‘clouded’ please.
2. Please submit the Energy Form R402-2020. It will provide information for the new living space provided.
3. Please submit the Product Approval Information sheet filled out with all component and cladding items
for this project. I will attach our PAIS for you to fill out and sign.
4. Siding and soffit material go through plan review in Atlantic Beach, FL. Please submit the manufacturer’s
installation instructions and Evaluation Reports for these materials for plan review. Document shall be
unlocked digitally and able to receive plan review stamps for the job site inspections.
5. Windows, doors, siding and soffits and roofing installation in Atlantic Beach have ‘in-progress
inspections’, and will be called out on the permit issued you, cover page, under ‘Conditions’.
6. Inspection called in before 4pm will be scheduled for the next day, we will do our best to contact you
when in-progress inspections are called so that we may visit jobsites in a timely manner as to not have
men/women waiting on inspectors to keep job running smoothly.
7. If spray foam insulation is to be used on this project please submit the ESR report for the product to be
used.
8. I would recommend that we have a pre-construction meeting here at the Building Department prior to
commencing construction. My contacts are below on this page.
9. Resubmittals may generate other review comments.

Resubmittal Notes: All revisions and changes shall clearly stand out from the rest of the drawing on the sheet as a
revision by way of completely encircling the change with “clouding”. The revision shall also be identified as to the
sequence of revision by indicating a triangle with the revision sequence number within it and located adjacent to the
cloud. The revision date and revision sequence number shall also be indicated in a conspicuous location in the title block
for each sheet on which a revision for that sequence occurs. For projects still in the initial review stage and permit
pending, all sheets with revisions shall be inserted into each set of drawings. The original sheets must be clearly marked
“VOID” but are to be left within the set of drawings. Complete new sets of drawings will not be accepted. ADDITIONAL
ITEMS MAY BE REQUIRED DEPENDING UPON NEW INFORMATION AND CLARITY OF FINAL PLANS SUBMITTED FOR
REVIEW.
