These standards are set forth in the International Property Maintenance Code and the Florida Building Code and were adopted as part of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances in Chapter 6,Article II, Section 6-16. A code enforcement inspection at 0 GLADIOLA ST was conducted on 5/5/2023. The City of Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances: NATURE OF VIOLATION: The property is listed on hipcamp.com as a rental RV site. No approvals have been issued for this property to be used as a recreational vehicle park and the property does not meet the minimum requirements in Sec. 10-2 of the City of Atlantic Beach municipal code for recreational vehicle parks. Additionally, in accordance with Sec. 24-163 recreational vehicles stored on a lot for more than 24 hours must be owned by the occupant of the lot and they may not be inhabited either temporarily or permanently. APPLICABLE CODE: Sec. 24-163. (c)Recreational vehicles, boats,and trailers of all types, including travel, boat, camping and hauling, shall not be parked or stored on any lot occupied by a dwelling or on any lot in any residential zoning district, except in accordance with the following requirements: (3) Recreational vehicles shall not be inhabited or occupied, either temporarily or permanently,while parked or stored in any area except in a trailer park designated for such use as authorized within this chapter. (4)Recreational vehicles parked or stored on any residential lot for a period exceeding twenty-four(24)hours shall be owned by the occupant of said lot. This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by ceasing all RV space rentals within 1 day of the receipt of this notice. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Failure to correct the violation by the required date may result in this case being referred to the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate resulting in fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day.
