AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
AMENDING CHAPTER 24, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE AND LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE ACCEPTING
AND APPROVING CHANGES IN THE ORDINANCE
ADOPTING THE FLEET LANDING PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT TO PROVIDE FOR THE INCLUSION OF AN
ADDITIONAL 1. 7 ACRES IN THE SITE PLAN AND
RELOCATION OF CERTAIN FACILITIES THEREIN; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Community Development Board of the City of
Atlantic Beach has considered a request for the inclusion of an
additional 1. 7 acres into the site plan of the Fleet Landing
Planned Unit Development and relocation of certain facilities
therein, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission does exercise its powers to
amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance in order to encourage the
appropriate use of land, and
WHEREAS, the plan submitted will have the same or fewer
number of dwelling units and floor area; and the open space is in
the same general location and in the same general amount, and the
buildings have the same number of stories and floor area; and the
roads and drives follow approximately the same course, and have
the same public or private rights therein; and the plan is
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan,
HOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby adopted, the plans for the inclusion
of an additional 1. 7 acres into the site plan of the Fleet
Landing Planned Unit Development and relocation of certain
facilities therein.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
