Re; Water retention
To whom it may concern,
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that we have reviewed the onsite retention and drainage plan
provided for the Goodrich Residence. Our evaluation has determined that the bank at 9.25' level,
situated a minimum of 2' from the foundation, will not affect the structural integrity of the building's
foundation given that the depth of the footing is at least 1 as per plans.

Location:1852 Sea Oats Drive - See Attached Plan
On this date, a representative of Legacy Engineering, Inc. visited the above referenced project site to
perform auger borings to determine the type of near surface soils present at the site and to determine the
existing groundwater level(s) and to estimate the seasonal high groundwater level(s). This report
presents the results of our findings.
Two (2) auger borings were performed to depths of 6-feet below the existing ground surface. The borings
were performed at the locations shown on the attached plan.
The soils encountered at the boring locations consisted of tan and gray fine sand throughout the depths of
the borings.
The existing groundwater levels at the boring locations were found to be the following at the time of
drilling:
B1 = 4.9 feet below existing ground surface
d2 = 5.0 feet below existing ground surface
The estimated seasonal high groundwater levels at the boring locations are the following:
B1 = 3.8 feet below existing ground surface
B2 = 3.9 feet below existing ground surface
Thank you for allowing Legacy Engineering, Inc. the opportunity to provide consulting services for this
project. If you should have any questions and/or comments regarding this report, please contact us.
