These drawings are for the sole use of calculating uplift design pressures and not for actual installation. The screw shown through the standing seam is standard practice for the purpose of testing and does not transfer to the actual installation; the engineering and design community accepts that the test loads are applied to the test deck center not the test deck perimeter.
