A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING
BID NO 2223-04 FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT #2 ELEVATED STORAGE
TANK REPAIRS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE ORDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS
NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on April 19, 2023, five bids were received and opened for City Bid No. 2223-04 for
Water Treatment Plant #2 Elevated Storage Tank Repairs; and
WHEREAS, the lowest bidder, Razorback, LLC, provided all of the required documents in its bid
submittal; and
WHEREAS, the project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for
repairs to the exterior of an existing 300,000 gallon elevated storage tank at Water Treatment Plant No. 2,
located at 2301 Mayport Road.; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for this project in account No. 400-5502-533-6300, Project No.
PU2303; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as
follows:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes awarding Bid No. 2223-04 to Razorback, LLC,
in the amount of $88,000.00 to perform the work for said bid in accordance with the bid specifications.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby appropriates funds from City's Public Utilities Fund for
this purpose.
Section 3. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute contracts and
purchase orders in accordance with and as necessary to effectuate the provisions of this Resolution.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
