ORDINANCE NO. 90-97-164
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
CHAPTER 24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
BY ADDING PLANT NURSERIES TO THE USES
BY EXCEPTION IN SECTION 24-107; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
SECTION 1 .Chapter 24, Section 17, Definitions is amended by inclusion of a definition
of residential plant nurseries as follows:
Residential Plant Nursery shall mean a use intended for the growing of plants,
including trees and shrubs, for the purpose of transplanting to other locations.
Residential plant nurseries are intended to be limited to the sides or rear yards
of residential property and to be enclosed by a fence or hedge screening the
growing area from adjacent land uses.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Section 107, RG-2 and RG-3 residential general multi-family,
is hereby amended as follows:
Section 24-107(c) Uses by Exception, is hereby amended to include:
(8) Residential Plant Nurseries.
