Dear Todd,
During inspection of the above referenced structure, several items of clarification were requested.The following is a summary
of the clarifications:
1. In the CONVENTIONAL FRAMING NOTES, Note 5 specifies H2.5A clips for rafter to wall connections. It is
acceptable to use a Simpson SDWC15450 in lieu of the H2.5A.
2. No collar ties are required in this construction.The plan doesn't show collar ties, but the general notes do.
3. It is acceptable to use a Simpson PA51 in lieu of the HTSMs specified on the beam to column connection.
Nothing further is required.
