FYI. I’m in the process of creating a Charter Review Committee
webpage/portal (similar to that of other AB boards and committees) and
preparing CRC’s first meeting agenda and notice. Once the agenda is

Congratulations on your appointment to the Charter Review Committee!
Attached is Resolution No. 23-02 outlining the Committee’s charge and
membership.
As required in AB Charter Sec. 81

Committee must meet for purposes of organization within 30 days after
the appointments have been made. In this case, the first meeting would
need to be held on or before February 22, 2023. In accordance with
that requirement, I am providing you with the following proposed dates:
February 7, 2023
February 16, 2023
In an effort to assist with scheduling, noticing and publishing an
agenda for the first meeting, I’m requesting that you please let me know
your availability for both proposed dates (shown above) and the time of
day that works for you. Once I hear back from everyone, I’ll let
everyone know the chosen date and time.
At the first meeting, the first order of business should be appointment
of officers - Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary - so it’s time to start
thinking about whether you’d like to be considered. City Attorney
Jason Gabriel will offer orientation on Sunshine, Public Records, and
Ethics Laws.
