AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF SALTAIR BOULEVARD,
PART OF SHERRY DRIVE AND PART OF SIXTEENTH STREET
IN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the name of the street formerly and
heretofore known as "Saltair Boulevard", in the corporate limits
of the City of Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, be and is
hereby changed to "Seminole Road"; by which name the said street
shall forthwith and henceforth be known, called and designated,
and,
Section 2. That the name of the street formerly and
heretofore known as "Sherry Drive" between the "Plaza" and
"Seminole Road", in the corporate limits of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Duval County, Florida, be and is hereby changed to
"Seminole Road"; by which name the said street shall forthwith
and henceforth be known, called and designated, and,
Section 3. That the name of the street formerly and
heretofore known as "Sherry Drive" between "Seminole Road" and
"Saturiba Drive", in the corporate limits of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, be and is hereby changed
to "Selva Marina Drive"; by which name the said street shall
forthwith and henceforth be known, called and designated, and,
Section 4. That the name of the street formerly and
heretofore known as "Sixteenth Street" between "Seminole Road"
and "Sherry Drive", in the corporate limits of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Duval County, Florida, be and is hereby changed
to "Country Club Lane"; by which name the said street shall forth-
with and henceforth be known, called and designated, and
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
Passed by the City Commission on first reading on February 8, 1960.
Passed by the City Commission on second and final reading on February
22, 1960.
