AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF
PORTIONS OF LEVY ROAD (COUNTY ROAD
NO. 222) TO "MAIN STREET" AND"CHURCH
ROAD" AND NAMING AN UNNAMED STREET
AS "LEVY ROAD" IN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the name of that portion of the 66 foot street
or road from the Ferrer Grant on the South to the City Limits
on the North, having a center line along the boundary line be-
tween Sections 17 and 18, Township 2 South, Range 29 East, here-
tofore known as the Levy Road (County Road No. 222) in the cor-
porate limits of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, be and
the same is hereby changed to "Main Street"; by which name the
said street or road shall forthwith and henceforth be knowy,
called and designated.
Section 2. That the name of that portion of the 66 foot street
or road running Westerly from the East boundary line of Section
41/0 18, Township 2 South, Range 29 East, to the city limits on the
West, having a first course center line 10 feet South of and
parallel to the North boundary line of Section 18, heretofore
known as Levy Road or Levy Road Extension (County Road No. 222)
in the corporate limits of the City of Atlantic B.;ach, Florida,
be and the same is hereby changed to "Church Road"; by which
name the said street or road shall forthwith and henceforth be
known, called and designated.
Section 3. That the name of the 60 foot street or road running
Westerly from the East boundary line of Section 18, Township 2
South, Range 29 East to the city limits on the West, having a
center line 5 feet North of and parallel to the North line of
the Ferrer Grant as shown on a plat of Section H, Atlantic
Beach (Plat Book 18, page 34) , including the unnamed 25 foot
road shown on said plant and the right-of-way conveyed to the
City of Atlantic Beach for public road or street purposes as
described in Volume 658, page 243, Official Records, Duval
County, Florida, heretofore unnamed, in the corporate limits
of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, be and the same is
hereby designated "Levy Road"; by which name the said street
or road shall forthwith and henceforth be known, called and
designated.

Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its final passage.
