1490 Selva Marina Drive Arborist Letter 6-1-2023 Joe Musgrove ISA Certified Arborist® FL-9674A Joe.lucastree@gmail.com (904) 887-1492 May 26, 2023 George Jones 1490 Selva Marina Drive Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 In Re: Arborist letter To Whom it May Concern: Upon inspection of the property, I found the following trees that require removal: 1. 3 Cabbage palms 2. 1- 10-inch Magnolia tree 3. 1- 12-inch Pine tree 4. 1- 10-inch Maple tree The trees referenced above pose an unnecessary risk to person and to property. Two of the palms are growing up against the large Century Live oak trees on the property. They are growing into the trunks of the oaks and the crown of the palms are rubbing against the branches of the oak. One palm is covered in vines and leans over the swimming pool. The trees are a hazard and should be removed. The Magnolia tree is also growing up against a Century Live Oak tree. The rotos are growing together. The crown of the Maples’ tree is also growing and rubbing on the Lie oak branches. This creates a hazard to the Oak tree and therefore, the Magnolia tree should be removed. The Pine tree is covered in vines and is suffering from root rot. This is evident in the thin canopy and discoloration of the pine needles. The tree is a hazard and should be removed. The Maple tree is also suffering from root rot. This is evident in the thin canopy and small leaves. The tree is a hazard and should be removed.
