ORDINANCE NO. 95-75-13 C •
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BY ADDING THERETO SECTION
4-4 OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH CITY CODE ENTITLED
"ANIMALS AND FOWL" (ORD. NO. 95-67-10, SECTION
3) PROHIBITING THE RUNNING AT LARGE OF ANY DOG
PROVIDING AS EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I . Section 4-4 of the Atlantic Beach City
Code entitled "Animals and Fowl" (Ord. No. 95-67-10, Section 3)
the same is hereby amended by adding an additional paragraph
labeled (e) as follows:
(e) Any dog on the beach of the City of Atlantic
-Beach, meaning all areas east of the established
seawall, during the hours of 10: 00 AM until
4: 00 PM, shall be on a leash no longer than
eight feet restrained by a responsible person
effective the months of June, July and August
of each year.
SECTION II . This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its final passage.
